 Organisational Manager

Emilie has been a valued member of the business since 2012. She holds a Certificate II and Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management from Challenger Institute of Technology (2012). When she joined Landcare Weed Control, she quickly built upon the skills she had gained working with Weeding Women and in the nursery at South Metropolitan TAFE’s Murdoch Campus, where she was studying Conservation and Land Management.

With a strong ability to learn quickly, combined with previous team leading, teaching, and managerial experience, Emilie soon progressed into leadership roles within the company. In May 2017, she assumed the position of Organisational Manager, where she oversees reporting, site assessments, quoting, and site management, while liaising with clients and coordinating the company’s daily scheduling and operations.

Our team is made up of highly experienced environmental professionals who are passionate about protecting and restoring natural landscapes. Many of our Senior Field Officers have been with the company since its early years, bringing extensive on-ground knowledge developed through decades of practical experience. Their qualifications include Bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Science and TAFE diplomas in Conservation and Land Management, and all senior staff hold current Pesticide Management Technician Licence.

Our entire field team is fully certified in First Aid and CPR. Many of our team members also bring additional skill sets, including mechanical knowledge and certifications such as chainsaw operation (including tree felling) and White Card construction safety training.

Our staff are also active members of the environmental community, participating in local conservation groups such as Friends of Bennett Brook, the Wildflower Society, Friends of Koondoola Regional Bushland, Friends of Trigg Bushland and the Urban Bushland Council. To ensure our knowledge remains current, team members regularly attend environmental workshops and training sessions on emerging issues, including Polyphagous Shot-Hole Borer, Skeleton Weed management and bat monitoring.

Combining strong technical expertise with a genuine commitment to environmental stewardship, our team delivers high-quality land management, weed control and ecological restoration outcomes across every project.
